Today, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held a meeting with the UN Resident Coordinator in Turkmenistan, Xiaoxun Grace Wang. This was reported on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The interlocutors discussed priority areas of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the United Nations, as well as issues of further coordination and practical cooperation in this positive relationship.

Particular attention was paid to upcoming joint events and the advancement of Turkmenistan's international initiatives within the framework of the UN. The importance of joint efforts to ensure environmental sustainability and protect the Caspian Sea was also noted.
