
A ceremony and exhibition in honor of the 34th anniversary of Turkmenistan's Independence was held in London, organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the United Kingdom. The festive event, held on September 26, was attended by Turkmen students studying at universities in the United Kingdom, Turkmen citizens living in London, members of the Galkynysh Association, the British branch of the Humanitarian Association of the World Turkmen, as well as representatives of the Embassy. In his speech, Ambassador of Turkmenistan Ya. Seryaev provided information about the great achievements achieved in the country during the years of independence, the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality, the representative international forum to be held in Ashgabat in December 2025, as well as important international events taking place in the country during the International Year of Peace and Confidence.
As part of the ceremony, a book exhibition dedicated to the permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan and the country's current achievements, as well as a photo exhibition reflecting the country's achievements, was organized. A video film dedicated to the development of Turkmenistan was shown to the guests. They were also greeted with great enthusiasm by the performance of Turkmen folk songs on the national dutar musical instrument.
