A training session for employees of the Turkmenbashi International Seaport has started through video communication.

Within the framework of the joint plan concluded between Turkmen Logistika Association and Turkmenbashi International Sea Port, with the support of CILT Central Asia Association and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Central Asia Trade Program on February 16 and March 12, 2024. They are organizing training for Turkmenbashi International Seaport employees through video communication with the participation of international experts. Employees of Turkmenbashi International Seaport will participate in this training session.

On February 16, the first course "Maritime Management and Leadership: Creating Value in Shipping" was held. This seminar was conducted by the international expert on sea shipping - Kirill Samarai.

During the course, the expert shared with the participants useful knowledge about the global trends in maritime logistics, maritime management, which have the greatest impact on the operations of modern ports, namely the role and role of port management, optimizing operations and improving efficiency, in supply chain operations of maritime cargo consolidation, managing maritime cargo flows and optimization provided an overview of innovative technologies that could dramatically change maritime logistics in the coming years. He explained what qualities and leadership strategies are most effective in realizing the sustainable development of ports, referring to real events and situations from the experience of other major ports of the world as examples.

The joint schedule of activities between Turkmen Logistika Association and Turkmenbashi International Seaport includes not only the training, but also many other activities, one of which is the Association's partners, the International Coordinating Council for Trans-Eurasian Shipping (ICC TS), located in Central Asia. A clear example of this is the roundtable and webinar organized by the Office of the Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT Central Asia) and the Central Asia Trade Program of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
