Preparations for the celebration of the 3rd anniversary of the founding of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care are discussed. Issues related to the organization of festive events and the further activities of the Fund were discussed at a working meeting held by the Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the MIC reports.

On March 29, a large-scale cultural program dedicated to the anniversary of the Foundation’s creation is planned in the city of Arkadag.

During the meeting, it was noted that the Foundation actively provides assistance to children in need not only in Turkmenistan, but also beyond its borders. Thus, humanitarian aid was recently sent to children injured in accidents in different countries of the world.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized that caring for the health of Turkmen citizens, especially children, is one of the priorities of state policy. He noted the importance of compliance of the medical services provided with international standards and the need for continuous training of doctors.

Particular attention was paid to the issue of organizing leisure time for children undergoing treatment. The head of the Foundation proposed holding creative competitions among them, for example, a drawing competition, and placing the best works in the Foundation’s museum.
