According to TDH, the chief director of the Transport and Communications Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers, M.Chakiyev, reported on the measures taken to train highly qualified specialists in the field of road transport in the country at the government meeting.

Based on the results of the analysis of cargo transportation, the need for professional training of drivers and operators involved in international road transport was determined.

Summarizing the report, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov said it is important to train international level specialists for the transport and logistics sector. It will significantly expand the shipping routes from this country, including to European countries.

The head of state approved the proposal to open a training center with IRU accreditation and ordered the start of relevant work in this area.
