At the Istiklol Medical Complex in the city of Dushanbe, a ceremony was held to transfer gifts to children of the friendly Tajik people on behalf of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care, the MIC reports.

The action was held in accordance with the Order of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, following the age-old traditions of good neighborliness and humanism of the Turkmen people.

Speakers at the event noted that thanks to trusting contacts between the leaders of countries and the constructive nature of interstate relations based on historical and cultural commonality, a solid basis for the development of the Tajik-Turkmen dialogue has been formed.

The Tajik side expressed gratitude to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Hero-Arkadag for the donation of textiles and confectionery products, clothing, medicines and medical supplies.
