At present, to transit into international standards is a priority task in our country. The “Turkmenstandartlary” State Service a major body carrying out activities in this field. International standards help to eliminate technical obstacles existing in trade, to enhance cooperation established among all interested parties, to raise the quality of products manufactured in our country.

The “Turkmenstandartlary” State Service is carrying out huge work aimed at developing the state system that ensures the accuracy of common standard and standard resources that safeguard labour safety, preservation of state etalons in all sectors of the national economy. Control of goods and products is conducted with the help of special sample equioment in compliance with the requirements. Special significance is attached to the issues of ensuring the control of the quality of national products. Because their urgent and accurate definition of the quality indicators make its contribution to raise the efficiency of the industry complex of the country.
