Dynamics of growth in transportation amounts of 2023
The total amount of cargo transportation 2023 by the vessels of the Marine Merchant Fleet increased by 19,7% compared to 2022 and amounted to 2 million 261 tons. Generally, the plan for cargo transportation for 2023 completed by 130%.
Cargo turnover for 2023 amounted to 948,675 mln.tn.km, which is 17,2% higher than in 2022; the plan for cargo turnover was fulfilled by 229,6%.
Passenger turnover in 2023 increased by 53,9% compared to 2022 and amounted to 9,185 mln.passenger.km. The implementation of the plan amounted to 255,5%.
The number of containers transported amounted to 4539 TEU, a growth rate 222,61%.
