The Turkmenbashi International Seaport is an online event organized on the theme of "Turkmenbashi International Seaport as a transit hub for Central Asian exports", which offers wide opportunities for the development of transit, import and export cargo transportation in the railway sector, as well as for loading and unloading railway wagons from incoming ships. During the round table meeting, it was reported by the representative of "Railways" open joint stock company.
At the presentation ceremony, the following concessions were announced by the "Turkmendemiryollary" agency in 2024 on the routes through the Turkmenbashi International Sea Port:
- 40% discount on raw sugar and sugar from the Turkmenbashi International Sea Port to the Farap/Takhiatash border crossing from the Turkmen-Uzbek border.
- 30% discount on private and leased wagons transported from the Farap/Takhiatash border through Turkmenbashi International Seaport, as well as 20% discount on wagons of smelting fleets and other types of production (except aluminum and oil products transported in barrels).
- 40% discount both ways from Turkmenbashi International Seaport 1 - Imamnazar, Turkmenbashi International Seaport 1 - passage 161 transit routes.
- 50% discount on loading and unloading operations from Turkmenbashi port (regardless of the type of vehicle ownership) in all directions (from Turkmenbashi International Seaport 1 - Imamnazar, Turkmenbashi International Seaport 1 - Passage 161 in both directions).
