Ambassador Maksat Charyev met with Fatih Birol, executive director of the International Energy Agency, to discuss the issues related to the participation of relevant bodies in the international forum on attracting foreign investments to the energy sector of Turkmenistan, which will be held in Paris on April 24-25.

Within the framework of the investment forum, representatives of large energy, construction and transport-telecommunications companies, as well as representatives of financial institutions, will discuss the role of Turkmenistan in world energy and the issues of attracting relevant investments.

The head of the diplomatic mission of Turkmenistan handed over the official invitation to the executive director of the International Energy Agency and noted that the participation of the high-ranking guest in the relevant event will enrich the country's initiatives in the field of fuel and energy cooperation.
