Turkmenistan is preparing to host the International Visiting Forum to attract foreign investment in the country's oil and gas industry.

As Deputy Prime Minister for Fuel and Energy Complex B. Amanov said at a meeting of the government of the country via video link, in accordance with the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan, this forum is expected to be held on the 24th to 25th of April, 2024 in the city of Paris (French Republic). According to the Deputy Prime Minister, the necessary work is underway to organize the planned event.

According to the instructions previously given by the head of state, the main attention will be paid to familiarization with investment projects implemented in the energy, construction and industrial, as well as transport and communication sectors of the national economy.

After listening to the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the importance of attracting foreign investment in the country’s oil and gas sector. Having focused on the broad presentation of investment projects in this area and focusing on the fact that the country’s investment projects should be widely disclosed at the international visiting forum, the head of state instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to hold the planned visiting forum in Paris at a high organizational level.
