On April 15-20, 2024, the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University is holding the II Open International Olympiad in Informatics (OIOIUS-2024) among students of higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan and foreign countries, and also it holds an International scientific-practical conference “Scientific views of students in the Period of the Revival of the New Era of a Powerful State" and exhibition.

Thus, we invite university students to take an active part in the International Olympiad and Conference. These International events will contribute to strengthening friendly relations and the mutually beneficial exchange of experience in the field of science and education between students and teachers of higher educational institutions of the world.

The Olympiad is held at the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University.

The official working languages are Turkmen, Russian and English.

The Olympiad will be held in two stages in the form of an individual championship.

Students enrolled in specialist, bachelor's and master's programs of any specialty and direction can participate in the Olympiad.

The number of students participating in the Olympiad should not exceed 5 participants and one teacher-supervisor.

Individual winners of the Olympiad are determined by the amount of points scored by students using specially developed national software.

Additional information and announcements related to the Olympiad will be posted in a special section of the university website https://iogu.edu.tm/faculties/48.

A list of students from higher educational institutions willing to take part in the Olympiad must be compiled according to the sample (Appendix) and sent to the specified email address hngu.olimp@gmail.com before March 21, 2024. The team leader of a university participating in the Olympiad can offer 3 tasks that can be solved using programming. The proposed tasks, together with exact solutions, must be submitted to the organizing committee before April 1, 2024.

List of documents that may be required and necessary information, will be sent to the email addresses of the Olympiad participants to obtain visas and other documents for the arrival of foreign students in Turkmenistan.
