It would be appropriate to say that erecting a tall statue on the foothills of Kopetdag on the occasion of the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Pyragy is a dream carried in the heart of the Turkmen. This dream was thwarted by the initiative of our Hero Friend and the attention of our Friend Hero Serdar. Since our national leader started this noble active initiative, he has been closely following the progress of the construction work there. He shared his valuable comments and ideas about the statues of Magtymguly Pyragy and the leading masters of world literature, starting from the construction materials to be used in the construction of the cultural-park complex and the garden plants to be planted.

41 hectares of land was allocated for the construction of this facility in the southern part of the beautiful capital city, in the foothills of Kopetdag. Sayat Nova, Yanka Kupala, Du Fu, Honore de Balzac, Shota Rustaveli, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, Sandor Petefi, Rabindranath Tagore, Hafiz Shirazy, Dante Alighieri, Yasunari Kawabata, Kurmangazy Sagyrbayuli, Chingiz Aitmatov, Statues of famous personalities such as Raja Ali Haji, Adam Miskevich, Mihai Eminescu, Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Juan Jimenez, Sayido Nasafi, Yunus Emre, Grigoriy Skovoroda, William Shakespeare, Langston Hughes, Alisher Novai were also installed. The height of the monument of our exemplary poet, built on a natural height, is 60 meters, and the height of the foundation is 25 meters.

On May 17, the opening ceremony of the "Magtymguly Pyragy" cultural-park complex and the poet's monuments was held with the participation of the President of the Republic of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov. In his speech at the ceremony, the Turkmen leader said: "The works of Magtymguly have a permanent place in the treasury of world literature and human culture. People have memorized the master's poems. Our great musicians turned his poems with deep meaning into songs and brought them to our days. "According to that, the anniversary of the exemplary Turkmen poet is widely celebrated on Earth today," he said. In the speech of the honorable President, from the appendix of our Heroic Archduke "The Ocean of Wisdom Magtymguly Pyragy":

Honor the feast of my holy soul,

I admire you for your bright thoughts.

He stayed in Kopetdagetegi today,

His Highness Magtymguly Pyragy.

It is not a good place to read the verse, because our Heroic Friend, who is also a master of words, expresses his high regard for our sage poet in this poem. It should be noted that the auspicious year started from the beginning with the attitudes dedicated to the honor of the wise poet. Among them, in the year "Ocean of Wisdom Magtymguly Pyragy", a jubilee medal was created in honor of the poet. The collection of the poet's manuscripts was included in the international list of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) program "The Truth of the World". In addition, the 300th anniversary of the poet's birth was added to the list of significant dates to be celebrated together with UNESCO in 2024-2025. The year 2024 was declared by the International Organization of Turkish Culture (TURKSOY) as "the year of Magtymguly Pyragy, the great poet and thinker of the Turkic world".

Today, the Turkmen land breathes with the name and song of Magtymguly. In honor of the poet, musical events are regularly organized in rural towns, institutions, and educational centers of our country, and poetic stories, film and stage works are created in dedication to the master of words.
