In February-March 2025, higher education institutions of Turkmenistan will host an international educational and methodological conference and two Internet Olympiads with the participation of students and scientists from the Russian Federation, the USA, China, the Republic of Korea, the UAE, the Republic of Austria, Germany, Romania, the Republic of Turkey, the Republic of Belarus, Malaysia, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republic of Kazakhstan and dozens of other countries. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister B. Orazdurdyeva at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
On February 28, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan will hold a conference entitled “Dil – hoşniýetli gatnaşyklaryň möhüm serişdesi” (“Language is an important means of good relations” - ed.), dedicated to the 33rd anniversary of the country's membership in the UN. In March, two international Internet Olympiads will be held: in theoretical mechanics at the State Power Engineering Institute and in strength of materials at the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering.
The events are organized within the framework of the International Year of Peace and Trust and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's neutrality. According to the organizers, these events will contribute to strengthening international cooperation in science and education, as well as training highly qualified specialists.
A corresponding proposal for holding the events has been submitted to the head of state for consideration.
