The Euronews Summit, dedicated to the issues of expanding membership in the European Union, was held in Brussels. The event was attended by the leaders of the countries wishing to join the European Union. During the summit, the progress made by the countries wishing to become members of the EU towards European integration was noted. The Embassy reported this on social networks.

The summit was also attended by Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Belgium Sapar Palvanov. During the summit, the ambassador met with Pedro Vargas David, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Euronews.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of continuing bilateral cooperation and implementing joint projects in the near future.
