Today, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, in accordance with the noble tradition, took part in the New Year celebrations organized near the Main Christmas Tree of the country and at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan. Young Turkmen citizens greeted the President of Turkmenistan at the "Alem" cultural and recreational center, reciting poems they had learned. The main characters of the New Year, Santa Claus and Snow Maiden, also expressed their festive congratulations.
At the request of the happy children, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, along with many joyful children, walked around the Main Christmas Tree of the country, dressed as Santa Claus and Snow Maiden, as well as children in the form of symbols of the passing year and the new year.
