In Ashgabat, preparations are being made for the opening ceremony of the Magtymguly Pyragy cultural-park complex and the monument of the great Turkmen poet. As reported in "Vatan" news program, Vice-Premier M. Mammedova reported on this to the Turkmen leader at the regular Government session held today - February 2 nd digital network. It is planned to install statues of famous personalities, outstanding writers-poets and masters of words. Listening to the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov said that the installation of statues of prominent foreign personalities and famous writers-poets in the cultural-park complex, which will be used on the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly Pyragy, the wise poet of the East, is a sign of respect for universal values. It was said that this will lead to further development of cultural relations at the international level. The Turkmen leader instructed the vice-premier to further improve the designs of these statues and carry out the relevant works.
