Yesterday, the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan held a meeting with a delegation from Nottingham Trent University, UK.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Martin Sevior and Sam Barclay, representatives of Nottingham Trent University, as well as officials from the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
The parties discussed issues of expanding bilateral cooperation in higher education, in particular, improving the teaching of English, teacher training programs and academic exchanges, according to the website of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
During the discussions, the parties emphasized the importance of strengthening academic cooperation, developing joint research projects and introducing digital educational tools. Particular attention was paid to holding master classes and seminars for English language teachers aimed at improving teaching methods and introducing innovative technologies into the educational process, as well as opportunities for student and teacher exchanges that will contribute to cultural and academic development.
This meeting took place within the framework of the Bilateral Grant Cooperation Program between the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after Dovletmammet Azadi with the participation of representatives of Nottingham Trent University.
