Gulmanova received letters of credence from the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Kuwait to Turkmenistan Abdulaziz Ahmad Al-Adwani. The Speaker of the National Parliament congratulated the President on his appointment to the responsible position and wished him success in his work to strengthen multifaceted cooperation between the two countries.
The plenipotentiary representative of the friendly country expressed gratitude for the kind words and hospitality extended on Turkmen soil, and in turn conveyed the warm greetings and best wishes of the Emir of the State of Kuwait to the Head of State and the National Leader of the Turkmen people.
During the meeting, the diplomat was briefed on the structure of the national parliament and its work on the comprehensive modernization of the country's legislative framework, as well as the main directions of Turkmenistan's domestic and foreign policy. During the exchange of views on promising areas of cooperation, a wide range of Turkmen-Kuwaiti intergovernmental relations were exchanged, which are successfully promoted both bilaterally and multilaterally, primarily within the framework of the UN and other authoritative international organizations.
At the end of the meeting, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Kuwait to Turkmenistan Abdulaziz Ahmad Al-Adwani assured that he would make every effort to further strengthen the friendly Turkmen-Kuwaiti relations, which are developed on the basis of trust and mutual respect.

Today, a meeting was held between the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Ahmet Gurbanov, and the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Kuwait to Ashgabat (residence in Ankara), Abdulaziz Ahmad Al-Adwani. At the beginning of the meeting, the Ambassador presented copies of his credentials.
According to the Foreign Ministry, congratulating the ambassador on his appointment to the responsible position, the Turkmen side expressed its readiness to provide all-round assistance and support to the diplomat in his work aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation.
The interlocutors discussed the current state of bilateral relations in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian spheres and opportunities for their expansion. The importance of high-level meetings in the development of Turkmen-Kuwaiti relations was emphasized.
Noting that cooperation between Turkmenistan and the State of Kuwait is being effectively developed within the framework of international organizations, the parties confirmed their intention to continue the practice of mutual support for the initiatives of the parties in multilateral forums, primarily within the framework of the UN.
Issues related to the participation of the delegation of the State of Qatar in the International Forum dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Confidence, the International Day of Neutrality, and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality were also discussed.
At the end of the meeting, the Ambassador thanked the Turkmen side for the warm welcome and assured that he would make every effort to further strengthen the friendly relations between the State of Kuwait and Turkmenistan.
