Turkmenistan's Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov held a videoconference meeting with Austrian Federal Minister for European and International Affairs Beate Meinl-Reisinger, the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reported.
During the talks, the parties discussed a wide range of issues related to bilateral relations in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
The foreign ministers highly praised Turkmenistan and Austria's cooperation within multilateral structures, including the UN, the European Union, and the OSCE. In this context, the diplomats discussed the possibility of organizing high-level and summit meetings this year.
In addition, an exchange of views took place on current international issues of mutual interest.
