On January 27, Turkmenistan held celebrations in honor of Defender of the Fatherland Day. The events held in honor of the remarkable date, with the participation of heads, commanders, military personnel, military students and cadets of the military and law enforcement agencies of Turkmenistan, were rich in meaning and content. The ceremonies were held at the Berdimuhamed Annayev Specialized Military School of the Ministry of Defense of Turkmenistan, where they laid wreaths at the statue of Berdimuhamed Annayev, a master teacher, brave soldier, and philanthropist. Then, they laid wreaths at the "Baky Shohrat", "Ruhy Abiyza", and "Sons of the Nation" monuments in the "People's History" memorial complex in Ashgabat.
Then the ceremony continued at the Berdimuhamed Annayev Specialized Military School of the Ministry of Defense of Turkmenistan. Here, the participants of the ceremony got acquainted with the exhibition, which included the recent achievements of the country's military and law enforcement agencies, design projects prepared by military students, military cadets, achievements of modern military science and education, and technology. The ceremonies held on the occasion of the Defender of the Fatherland Day were combined with a festive concert organized at this military school.
