Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered a high-level meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Independent States to be held in Ashgabat on May 22. The corresponding decree was published in the newspaper "Neutral Turkmenistan."
The resolution was signed in accordance with the action plan for the implementation of the Concept of Turkmenistan's Chairmanship of the CIS in 2026.
"The document instructs the Office of the President of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, together with the Executive Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States, to organize a high-level meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Independent States on May 22, 2026, in Ashgabat," the statement said.
