Turkmenistan is undertaking extensive work to modernize its quality control system for goods and products. The issue of improving the national standardization system was discussed at a Cabinet of Ministers meeting held by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov via videoconference, TDH reports.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers H. Geldimyradov delivered a report on this topic. He reported that modern equipment for determining the quality of goods and products is being introduced in the laboratories of the Main State Service "Türkmenstandartlary." Furthermore, cooperation with foreign companies in this area is actively developing.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov praised the ongoing work and approved proposals for further improvement of the service's operations. The Deputy Prime Minister was given a number of specific instructions for their implementation.
