In Turkmenistan, extensive work is underway to improve the logistical support of the State Corporation "Türkmengeologiýa." This issue was discussed at a Cabinet of Ministers meeting held by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov via videoconference, TDH reports.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers G. Agadzhanov delivered a report on this topic. He reported that the corporation's oil and gas exploration expeditions are drilling exploratory wells at a number of fields and sites in the western region of the country to find oil and natural gas. Particular attention is being paid to modernizing the technical infrastructure of specialized enterprises. Cooperation with foreign companies specializing in this field is also actively developing.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov praised the ongoing subsoil development work and approved proposals to further improve the corporation's logistics. The Deputy Prime Minister was given a number of specific instructions for their implementation.
