The importance of developing long-term and effective cooperation between the two countries within international organizations, primarily the United Nations, was also emphasized.
The heads of foreign ministries agreed to make every possible effort to carry out joint work within the framework of the UN, in particular, to implement the initiatives put forward by the two countries in international arenas.
The ministers discussed issues related to the organization of the International Forum on Peace and Confidence, scheduled to be held in Ashgabat on December 12 of this year and dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent Neutrality, the Year of International Peace and Confidence, and the International Day of Neutrality.
