Exactly 30 years ago, Turkmenistan and the Kingdom of Bahrain established diplomatic relations.
On the occasion of the 30th anniversary, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, on behalf of the people and the Government, as well as on his own behalf, sent heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the King of Bahrain, Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and all the people of the country.
In his message, the head of the Turkmen state noted that relations between the two countries are based on mutual respect, equality, and shared goals on the path to progress and prosperity, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
Confirming Turkmenistan's interest in expanding bilateral cooperation, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed confidence that relations between Turkmenistan and the Kingdom of Bahrain will continue to develop steadily for the benefit of both peoples.
